Randolph "Randy" Scott Evans, 52, of Fryeburg, Maine, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.

He was the husband of Sabrina Day of Fryeburg; father of Irving E. Day of Berlin, Julius A. Day of Effingham, Kyle A. Day of Fryeburg and Sarah J. Day of Conway.

Randy was born in Haverhill, Mass., and also lived in Lawrence, Mass., before moving to New Hampshire and eventually Fryeburg. Randy was employed as the Manager of Conserve Car Wash in North Conway for 20 years. Randy was also a past member of the White Mountain Amateur Radio Club.

He enjoyed fishing, building and repairing computers, ham radios and planning home improvement projects. There was very little Randy could not repair and he loved to challenge himself.

A man of few words, he was always reliable, hardworking, tough as nails but with a heart of gold and had great compassion for those he cared about. Randy left this world far too soon and will be greatly missed by many.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, April 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Furber and White Funeral Home at 2925 White Mountain Highway in North Conway.
