Rail Fans Weekend - Sunday Semptember 1st in Schouler Park

The White Mountain Amateur Radio Club has been asked to be present for the Rail Fans weekend and swapmeet.  More info about the Railfans Weekend is available here.

We will be setup and on the air with HF, VHF/UHF, Echolink and DMR.  The goal is to showcase our club and amateur radio.  If you would like to join us for a period of time to get on the air or just to stop by please do!  

A few things to remember:

• Wear your name tag, it makes us more approachable
• We use a lot of words and phrases that may be unfamiliar to non-hams, try to speak non-ham
• Dress presentably - no torn or greasy jeans etc.  We will be what people see as a representative ham
• Have fun, this is why most of us play radio, and make some contacts
